Our Democracy is on life-support. We need leaders who will fight for us: for affordability, our environment, livelihoods, dignity and safety, and who will stand up to Republicans and MAGA, not make deals with them to preserve their own power. Our County Democratic Party has failed to create the change we need and deserve.
It's time for a new generation of leadership in Suffolk County. That's why I'm running to become the next Chair of the Suffolk County Democratic Party. It's time to rise to what this moment demands of us.
An effective movement requires leadership you can trust. If Democrats in Suffolk County are going to build a movement that leads to lasting wins, we need a leader at the head of the County party with demonstrated integrity. This means an uncompromising clarity of vision and values, including refusing to align with a party and candidates who contradict those standards.
Once you give people the ability to trust, they can have hope! Hope is fuel. It creates space, energy, and enthusiasm. It spurs us into action. Hope is effective. And, it’s contagious! Let’s grow it together.
People who are hopeful and ready to be mobilized for change! Taking action also allows our hope to grow. These mutually reinforcing ideas will allow us to build a movement for long-term change. Suffolk, New York, and our nation need this from us right now.
